Deemaks is a Canadian Afrobeats DJ, with an ever-growing worldwide fan base that are always in anticipation for every new mix, and as well as his electrifying performance at events. Deemaks unwavering DJing skill is jaw-dropping, and something out of this world. His musicality stands him out from the crowd.

Interestingly, Deemaks master craftsmanship in the art of DJing was self-taught, which makes him not only talented and gifted but also a rare gem.

On the international scene, Deemaks has played at some high profile events worldwide, including the annual Sfinks Festival in Belgium, Toronto Harbourfront’s Hot & Spicy Festival, Toronto’s African Fashion Week After Party and much more. He has been billed alongside DJs like Walshy Fire (Major Lazer) and was most recently the Canadian tour DJ for R2Bees.

When Deemaks performs, he loves to thrill the crowd with non-stop beats. No matter the place, time or mood, once Deemaks is behind those decks, then you can only be sure of one thing and that is the dishing of phenomenal music to make the crowd dance, smile and happy because Deemaks is on the wheels of steel.

Deemaks has also excelled academically, as he a graduate of the Commerce program at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology in Oshawa, Canada.

He recently founded a company called 'Afrobeats YYC'

as part of his accomplishments. Afrobeats YYC is an entertainment company based in Calgary Canada focusing on connecting Afrobeats culture through music and arts. With a mission to promote African music through events.​
